The Company

GMM Pfaudler is one of the leading engineered equipment supplier to oil and gas, fertilizer, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries globally. Since its inception in 1962 it has scaled numerous industry benchmarks of success with high performance manufacturing process. This USP continues to deliver immense value to its clients across the world even today.

The Challenge

With more than five decades of experience under its belt, the company wanted to rejuvenate its corporate branding to be in sync with today’s times. The challenge for the re-branding campaign was to maintain intact the integrity and trust it had built over the years, while still radiating a sense of evolution to align to the needs of the modern world of today. This mandate of keeping the old world charm and amalgamate it with modern branding proposition was one of the biggest challenges Phi Creative faced.

Our Idea

We recommended coming up with a branding strategy that let the world identify with the 50 year old trustworthiness and integrity. This included revamping of the marketing materials (business visiting cards, communication materials, emailers, corporate logo, and brochure) at the same time, the branding strategy was to inform the world of its intent to capture bigger market share internationally and thus announce a roadmap for the company in the near future. We also covered new industry initiatives the unique S3 Hubs launch in Ankleshwar and Vizag, and new product launches like the Funda Filter through mailers. These exercises clearly outlined the company’s readiness to scale up horizontally (with new product lineups) and vertically (branching into international markets like USA).

The Result

As an outcome, the various stakeholders were able to get a clear idea of the direction the company is headed in. The branding revamp also highlighted the steps taken by the company to consolidate its glorious past and embrace the future wholeheartedly.

It also helped new accounts to understand the business and value proposition of GMM Pfaudler. This led to improved engagement of leads and better sales.
